The 2-star Ohana® Honolulu Airport Hotel is only one-half mile from the Honolulu Airport and they offer a 24-hour complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. The hotel is 5 miles from downtown Honolulu and 8 miles from Waikiki, with a bus stop to both locations right outside the door ($2 one way).

All guestrooms and common areas are nonsmoking. The hotel is undergoing renovations of all public areas and guestrooms which are scheduled for completion by July 2007. They assure guests that every effort to minimize construction noise and related disturbances will be taken.

The air conditioned rooms are spacious and those that have been renovated are very nicely decorated. Surprisingly, most of the rooms are not noisy considering their close proximity to the airport and for a budget hotel, feature a large amount of amenities, including cable/satellite TV, pay-for-view movies, direct dial phones, complimentary toiletries and dial-up internet access (fee).

Other amenities include coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, clock radio, cribs available at no extra charge, a shower/tub combination, wake up calls, microwave oven, mini refrigerator, card key access and more. There is no extra charge for children 17 years and younger sharing accommodations with parents in existing beds.

Property amenities include laundry/dry cleaning valet, luggage storage, ATM machine, coin-operated laundry, complimentary WiFi high speed internet access in the lobby, complimentary newspaper, playground and picnic area, swimming pool and sundeck in a tropical setting, sundries store, parking (fee), 24 hour front desk, security and more.

The open air restaurant, Willougby's is open for breakfast daily, closed for lunch and open for dinner from Tuesday to Thursday from 5 to 9 pm. Their sister hotel, Best Western Plaza Hotel's restaurant serves dinner on Sunday & Monday and Friday & Saturday, with a free shuttle offered to The Plaza, with parking at that hotel complimentary while patronizing the restaurant or lounge. The lounge at the hotel features sporting events broadcast live via satellite on a jumbo TV screen.

The Honolulu Airport Hotel is a very convenient place to stay at a very reasonable price if you are coming in from a neighbor island and need a place to stay overnight before catching a flight the next morning or the reverse. The staff is friendly, it is clean and best of all it is affordable.
